Generators produce AC voltage, very similar to the voltage available in your home, however while your electric utility company produces sufficient power for all your electric powered devices, a home standby generator is limited in power output directly related to its size and the engine horsepower. The amount of power that a generator can produce is rated in watts, shown as the KW ratings you see on the generator.
Installation
Once your permit is approved, we schedule your installation, as a commercial generator can improve the energy efficence, we will install your new back-up generator in a convenient, neat and workmanlike manner with minimal disturbance of your property. After the installation is complete, the lead installer will test the system and make sure your new generator is running smoothly. Lastly, we will complete the required paperwork on the installation and process it at our office, your warranty will then be activated with the manufacturer. The sales rep that handled your sale will then return to your house and go over the entire installation, test the system, and demonstrate the generators operation. At this time, we will answer any further questions you may have, and present some preventive maintenance options for your generator. These preventative maintenance options are designed to keep the back-up power system running smoothly and dependably, ensuring a long service life for your standby generator.
